Subject: How to get os platform from client using lotus script?
Feedback Type: Question
Product Area: Domino Designer on Eclipse (DDE)
Technical Area: Application Development
Platform: Windows
Release: 8.5.2
Reproducible: Always

Hi,

I need to be able to distinguish between Windows XP, Windows 7 clients using lotus script.

If I use Environ("OS") it only returns "Windows_NT"

I've also tried session.platform but that only returns "Windows/32"

Does anyone have a way of getting the platform name or vesion number from a windows pc using lotus script?

Thanks very much
